The basic freediver is based on parts of the apnea course (level 1). It's a great first step in developing solid freediving skills. You learn basic principles of free diving and practice proper breathing techniques in a pool or limited shallow water.

The PADI Basic Freediver course is a subroutine of the PADI Freediver course. It is a great first step to develop solid freediving skills. You will learn the basic principles of freediving, and you will practice breathing techniques in limited open water (with us from the beach). To register for a PADI Basic Freediver course, you must be at least 12 years old. You must be able to swim appropriately and be in good health. Previous experience in snorkeling, snorkeling or free diving is not required.We train you in the practices of static apnea (short-term breathing) and dynamic apnea (distance diving).
The course is running over 1 day.
